Path of Light is part of my Missouri Botanical Garden series, inspired by a quiet, easily overlooked pathway I came across while searching the garden for something subtle and unassuming. I’m drawn to these understated spaces—places that invite a slower, more attentive way of seeing. Many of my paintings begin in moments like this, exploring the beauty found in what is often unnoticed, where light and color quietly transform the ordinary into something meaningful.
