Darkness Overcome is an acrylic painting from 2022. The original painting is 24" x 48" inches and is of a small boat struggling in a storm. The storm is nearing its end and light is breaking through the darkness. This painting was inspired by the Scripture passage "And the Light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it." (John 1:5)
